Eagle Song
Won twice on all weather over seas. Two good races on turf here. Looks like he will relish the extra distance.
Will take a further look but I would also have to use the as well.

Goofy looking field.
Buckpasser-x:
Breeders Cup:
Of those above, the has done well on the surface and has some LP to pass tired horses late. Potential bomb board hitter. The has faced the toughest competition but has been drubbed. May appreciate surface change and also a modest price for gimmicks play. The is the horse for course with a top local rider. He will be dangerous. The ran well on AW in Ireland and fired a decent turf last out. Could be in the picture.
Not sure how I will play it at this point but like the on top and underneath.

I'll go with King of Speed. The pace will set up well, and he drew a good post considering he likes to move on the inside.

I can see why Baffert did not go to the Fairgrounds, much weaker field here.

Perhaps also suggests what he thinks of the horse. Third place in the Risen Star pays the same points as winning the El Camino. If I was sitting on a live horse then I'm going for the 50 points and an almost guaranteed Derby gate capturing them.

5-1 or 6-5. Baffert took the short odds.

More Ice should appreciate the extra ground and perhaps the surface switch.

Long gone . . .
Can't see how they catch the Baffert horse in this one. If he gets loose he is long gone . . .
Why the El Camino rather than the Risen Star? Kingly has raced twice, a 53k MSW and an 80k OC. The 100k El Camino is a small stakes and the next logical "step." The 400k Risen Star is a G2 major stakes and would likely be a step too far too soon against competition he cannot yet handle where he will likely take a shellacking from which he may not recover. Is Hidden Scroll ready for the G2 Fountain of Youth? Lookin' forward to that one . . .
I'll take Kingly here . . .

I like Kingly too. I just wonder if Anothertwistafate will soften him up enough for a closer.

That's the first thing that popped into my head too. But selfishly, I hope they run him on dirt again so I have a better idea of what to do with him should he make the Derby starting gate. He's got a nice pedigree and that was a pretty impressive race today, winning by daylight first try at a Mile 1/8. Not sure who he really beat, but looked good doing it.
