Results for 24 LIVE races (tote board dollars downloaded as horses approach the gate)
My $1 return on the favorite was $1.12, the public's was only $0.74
9 wins in 24 races, 38% winners

fav, top choice 12 wins in 23 races (52% winners) $1 return $0.99
2nd choice, 4 wins in 14 races (29% winners) $1 return $1.16
combined fav and 2nd choice
16 wins in 38 races (42% winners) $1 return $1.01

Here is an update for all races in the current data base
in 372 races the top choice (almost all favorites) won 144 races, 39%, a flat bet returned $0.87 on the dollar
In 110 races my selected top choice (again, mostly favorites) won 58 races, 53 %, using my bet size, the $1 return was $1.15 with no outliers.

then there are the results for the last 35 races
7 of 35 races , 20% win % $1 return was $0.39
I had 1 win in 9 races, 11% winners for a $1 return of $0.16
still profitable over 114 plays within 381 races.

a flat bet on all favorites returned $.088.
using my bet sizes for 120 bets on my selected favorites returned $1.18, winning 52% of the time. no outliers

You left out one of the best parts that demonstrate my bet size and favorite selections. outperform the public. My FB return outperforms the public's, by a profitable margin. Sample size is small but hope is large. Time and data will.tell.
