I had a dream that V1 wins.
The kid from rocking horse winner gets names of actual winning longshots "Malabar!"... I get V1.
My early derby scenario is Union Rags passing Bodemeister in the stretch.

1) Creative Cause -seems to be peaking form-wise better than folks realize. I have one caveat though: the clocker's final report on CC was iffy - "mixed signals" he said.
The next three choices are in no particular order:
2) Done Talking - in the last 2 out of three races he was a deep closer in large-sized field finishing up close -that's the type of experience that helps in the Derby. Obviously I'm hoping Trinninbeg takes off like a rocket and Bodemesiter can't rate.
3) Went The Day Well - again, seems to be peaking form-wise better than folks realize.
4) I'll Have Another - again, seems to be peaking form-wise better than folks realize.
Because of the Derby's uniqueness and huge fields, I toss out my money management rules for this event. I always go to a Derby party and bet like a peasant! Here's how I'll bet 'em:
1) $1 four horse trifecta box = $24
2) $1 four horse exacta box = $12
3) $1 superfecta with Creative Cause on top and the other three horses
boxed behind him = $6
total bet: $42.00
Good luck to everyone!
