WHOBET is AWOL.

Spoke to Derosa of Brisnet of the decent amount of traffic, and the opportunity/convenience to simply offer the organized 'Briswatch' Stallions/Trainers on their own page, with their own ads to profit from the traffic/service-to-players.

Not particularly optimistic, but we may see something.

(sort of like having an interesting 25-1 shot) Don't bet your whole bankroll on it happening any time soon...

He is providing a service that saves users the time they would spend sorting through a lot of listings for what they want. I've used the service, and a voluntary $10 once in a while is nothing compared to the time I save.

Yeah I was easily donating $10 monthly as the service was worth it. I'm going to cancel my PayPal order on it now.

Sort of like their hanidcappers library which hasn't been updated in ages. Doubt they'd offer anything new to their website

It's cheap on a shared server but if you require a full server (PA), that's a different animal.

I hope he's OK.

He also had the best site for organizing the briswatch.

best alternative at this point that I've seen = http://www.horse-races.net/library/l...rformances.htm - at least you have the tools to 'dig'

In a perfect world (Whobet would confirm that he's of good health and) Brisnet would give him five grand to consult with a couple geeks and build their own page on their site with their own ads and promote the move to Brisnet, and profit from the traffic and advertisement. Since it's a perfect world, maybe some of the ads would actually be stuff that horseplayers buy and partake in their overall and specialized markets.

OR at least steal his idea and do it for ad revenue.

OR at least have someone profit from the content on Whobet's site by taking over ads/page-design, and giving Whobet a cut.

Without this kind of cluelessness we would have 'efficient markets' nearly ALL of the time, and the sport would already be dead.

Cluelessness is annoying, and we have to deal with it, but overall, it's a blessing in disguise.

Happy th. Enjoy life.

Yeah I honestly just hope hes ok at this point. Haven't seen anything on Twitter either....

Besides that though....these Bris PPs are already sitting out on the internet for free so just wish it was more easily acknowledged and organized by them.
