Charles Town pick 6

I see Charles Town's jackpot 6 bet is growing to be a decent size, but I cannot find anything on the internet regarding its rules, and on the track website it doesn't even mention the pick 6 in its wagering menu, fantastic work guys. Either way, is it a 20 cent minimum denomination or $1? Read something in 2017 about it being a 20 cent min but you need to bet at least 5 combos, is that still the case? Also last I saw it's a 12% takeout, not bad at all on that end if true, but with 25% out for jackpot. Also anyone know if there will be a mandatory payout date? Looks like they carried into the new year last year (as did GP), so always tricky with some jurisdictions paying out in full on the final day of the year & others not. Thanks for any info.

I actually called the Charles Town mutuel dept over the weekend to find out if they are having a mandatory payout in their Pick 6 on 12/29. The short answer is no, they are not required by W Va state law to pay out the pool at year end. But the woman I spoke with said there is the possibility that the mutuels manager could decide to schedule a mandatory payout date at any time.

So vigilance is the watchword. It would certainly better for the track to schedule a mandatory payout date to attract the mega $$$ than to keep letting it run and someone quietly hits it with no major bump in handle. We shall see.
