i was looking at a closed end fund that mimics bitcoin, and it is trading at a 75% premium. if i was allowed to short them, i would go long gold as the hedge.

The problem with Bitcoin is it is too volatile to be used as a pricing mechanism.

Bitcoin reminds me of carbon credits, which somehow some people get rich from marketing to others to invest in nothing.
