Historical Chart Datafiles
An annual plan from Bris for chart datafiles is $700. I'm assuming one can get a year's worth of historical data for the same cost or less from Bris. Are there any other options from other providers for less?

I think Equibase and Trackmaster both offer bulk buys.

I think you can get quickhorse, for $95.00 which goes back 5 years for all tracks, but their data files may be coded different then bris.....

Thanks but it doesn't look like Quickhorse will work for what I need.

Unbeeleevable!
And they wonder why people look for "alternate" ways to get data.
I get comma charts from HWD for FREE as a part of HTR subscriptions. Not sure if they sell it outright.
You might contact them.....GREAT files.

I was wondering about this one. Can't imagine Equibase would be good with this.

The best part is, an annual subscription is $1999.95. Most places give a discount for historical data.

For $1428, you can subscribe to HRT, get all the comma charts, plus all the program files, the programs, and multip exports full of useful data that you can use along with the chart files.
Daily.

I think he wants you to private message him the name of the person who gave you that quoted price.

I see now that's probably what he meant.
When I went to PM Ubercapper, I noticed I f'cked up, it was Trackmaster that wanted $2500/yr for historical chart data and not Equibase. Equibase wants $1999.95 for an annual plan going forward but I don't think I contacted them about historical data. Sorry, my mistake.
