Can someone explain what is going on with the jockeys in this race, it looked so blatant I thought there had to be a better explanation.

I was at the track and the explanation given was that a rein had broken on the #6 horse, Bar Trick earlier in the race and the jockey, Israel Hernandez, had been yelling at the other riders warning them that he was having trouble controlling his horse so they were looking around to see if that was going to pose a danger to them and their mounts. Lengthy inquiry resulted in no change to the results of the race. Weird situation.

Haven't watched the race, but sounds like a perfectly sound explanation to me...

So I had the winner. I thought a rider on the inside had lost a stirrup. It definitely appeared that all the riders rode like someone was in trouble.

I'll also it was the longest inquiry I've scene in years. Almost a full 30 minutes. So they definitely talked to everyone.
