Using contents from Modern Pace Handicapping and seeing what's winning...

Race 2
Lindsey seems like he can hit the super and bring some small value.
still getting a feel for things here.

She looked awful!
I liked the look of her form in terms of potential value.
Solid trainer but not a trainer who looks to wire a few and get on the shelf... Ian Wilkes tends to train them to stalk in stylish efforts.
Was coming out 6f and 7f dirt sprints where she ran fairly evenly.
Comfortable trip, well-placed today. No excuses! She did not fire anything.
3rd lowest in doubles (while relatively heavily bunched field in those odds range) went off 9/2 (8/1ml) so was 'live' enough.
Keep moving forward

I don't know about you all but I'm getting a bit tired of the on track late scratches. Maybe the track vet can set down his bourbon, leave the warmth of the bar, and get the eff into the paddock?

One possibility: In the cold, some horses might appear slightly off in the paddock, but will warm up out of it and be going fine on the track. Others don't warm up well and get scratched.

I guess they won't have to worry about that for the next two nights.

Not all horses are stabled at Turfway and so it could be if the roads are not safe the horse will not ship in to race. That is something else to consider regarding winter racing in Kentucky.

This track is one of my favorites to bet now. I didnt pay much attention to it in past years but once i figured out just about any horse can win from race to race. Ive become a fan. Betting wps at this track pays generously most of the time as long as you have the right horse. Its pretty much an even playing field.
