Why You have to Love Tom Durkin

Race 3 on Friday, August 5th, Tom precisely calling each horse,
and then calls Bubblegum, (in his baritone voice), "stuck to the rail".

Yes, he hedges on photos, does make some errors on calls,
but he is an impossible act to follow..

He seems quite loss at times to me

Fortunately his command of the English language still far exceeds yours.

Durkin isn't perfect, but he's still the best in my book.

You think Durkin is a god, good for you I think he is a washed up track announcer

Don't forget "loss" instead of "lost".

OK, so when he makes a good call we can start threads, but when he screws up we can't.

Got it.

This is quite interesting to know though. Typed "Awww!" and iPad turned it into "Asses!" Maybe it is magic like they say in the commercials. Got to be wary of that auto correct feature when I'm communicating with someone worth my while.

I like Durkin. His voice is clear and understandable and he can be entertaining. I watch the races with my own eyes so if he screws up a call here and there I couldn't care any less. If I were listening to him on the radio that might be a problem but clearly that's not the case.
