I remember when I used to think Putin's Russia was one the worst case scenarios for the world. Now I have more in common with Putin than most democrats, members of the US media, woke corporations etc..
I didn't change much other than being more aware.
Putin did change much other than recognizing the decline of the west and being vocal about what I was observing also.
It's a sorry state of affairs when God, freedom, and country are the values being eliminated.

You make it sound as if Putin is unhappy he senses a decline in the west...as if he was out there warning us and trying to save us from ourselves.
Let's not carry this too far...Putin isn't a good guy.

Anyone know the score of this game? Seems Ukraine is slowly getting obliterated. Oh well, the Z man is rich and the envy of all the tards.

What is the end game?
If Ukraine "wins" this war, who owns the ruins?. They'll hit us up for many more billions to rebuild. The whole thing has been managed horribly.

I don't think Putin is a good guy. I think he's a bad guy. I just think it's quite possible he's the lesser of two evils compared to some of the people in power and in the media in the west.

In this case, you do not understand Putin, perhaps speak to someone who grew up in Russia, such as my wife or my mother in law. I will honestly say, I hate Trump and Putin makes Trump look like a saint.

LMAO
Imagine living in the environment we are now, where you're comparing a former US Prez to the leader of Russia. And in "being honest," you actually admit to him NOT being as bad as Putin...
Imagine...
The propaganda machine sure has altered a lot of people's brain chemistry.

I know people that grew up in Russia. I was told how bad it was and probably still is. I'm glad I never lived there.
I think Americans don't understand how bad some of the people in our government (or pulling the strings) are because it's hidden by corrupt institutions and media. Also, sometimes they agree with the actions. That's second point is subtle, but important.
Taking Crimea was a despicable act, but it was clearly in Russia's national security interests to do so. I'd bet a lot of Russians supported it even though they aren't bad people.
IMO lying to the US public in order to start a war in Iraq and overthrow Saddam was a despicable act, but it was in US security interests. Many in the US supported it.
Both medias virtually never tell the truth, but Americans are just starting to figure out how bad ours is and how bad some of the people pulling strings in the US are.
As to what I agree with Putin about. It's not much. I'll say I don't know what his core beliefs are, but publicly he certainly has a more traditional view on some cultural issues I think are critical to having a healthy society than a lot of democrats.

You act as tho I just began disliking him since 2016, I disliked him in the 80s when he'd run his arrogant mouth on Oprah, I disliked him in the 00s when he was on TV and he has never done a single thing to make me feel differently, and I think it's a safe bet he never will.

It's the whole mentality...where there's a chance you'd actually think he's WORSE than Putin...where you have to basically force yourself "to be honest" and say he isn't
That's what I'm talking about
The mentality at play here is simply astounding when you stop and analyze it for just a second
