Just for fun for anyone using my Mohawk Spreadsheet "Sheety" posted in this thread
http://www.paceadvantage.com/forum/s...d.php?t=154563

The table below shows the comparison between betting the Computer Pick 1 vs Betting P1 and P2 to Win

The bet is made only when Pick 1 has a Morning Line of 8/1

Sheety picked an 8/1 shot 115 times this year during 1/18/20 - 9/18/20 so the play percentage is very low ~3%

There's an 8/1 shot pick in the 1st race tonight so here goes $10 to Win on the 4 and the 6
GLA

Code:
RETURNS
 WinP1 Win P1 & P2
 115 115 Races
 1.15 1.13 ROI
  16% 35% Strike%
 264 520 Return
 230 460 Cost at $2
 34 60 Net P/L
 32 52 Max
  3% Play%

Hi Ray. Thanks very much for making your harness handicapping spreadsheets available to forum members. I'm sure everyone appreciates your generosity!

I've downloaded your "Sheety" spreadsheet from the link at the top of this thread. I think I've set it up properly including making sure the PDF Exchange Viewer is located at C:/Program Files/Tracker Software/PDF Viewer/PDFXCview.exe .

The spreadsheet loads the Mohawk free program and displays the PPs but when I click over to the spreadsheet I get the error message: Method 'Paste Special' '_Worksheet' failed.

I've read the archived posts but I can't seem to find the problem.

I'm running Win 10 64 bit. I'm currently using Excel 2016 32 bit version since I read that the 32 bit version is necessary. (I own Excel 2013 64B & Excel 2003, if that helps.)

Any assistance you can give me is greatly appreciated.

You've probably done these 2 steps but I'll list them.

1. The program file is Zipped to a folder so I can post it here. Be sure to extract the folder Extract_Mohawk.zip and use the Mohawk.xlsm file. It won't work from the Zip folder.

2. Set up the hot key in PDF viewer:
Open the PDF xchange viewer, open a program file or any pdf file, and test Ctrl+6 to see that all text is being selected. If not
Click on Properties and set the Hot Key to Ctrl+6 (same as ^6) (see help sheet)

3 I may be using a newer version so I'll attach it here. Mohawk occasionally throws in some unusual characters and my newer version handles it better than the last posted version.

Let me know if this helps.

Thank you very much for your prompt and professional assistance.

I'll try your suggestions later on tonight when I get a chance. Your handicapping style and results are intriguing. Kudos!

I checked the latest file posted in the thread I referenced above and it also fails for me on tonight's program but worked on other night programs.

I hope the one I posted today works for you.

Looks like were both winners so far tonight. Nice call on Menlo Park !

Lmc Bumble Bee made my night.

No luck so far but I'll keep trying.

1. I'm definitely using the xlsm file.

2. When I check the PDF Exchange Viewer using Ctrl 6 is does not select all text. But when I look in the PDF Viewer's properties I cannot see how to set a hot key.

**When I try to download the latest help file from Tracker I get the following:

Open or launch PDF Exchange viewer. Click on "Tools" -> "Basic Tools" and see if "Select Tool" shows "Ctrl+6".

If not there then:
In the menu bar,
Click on View -> Tool Bars -> Customize Tool Bars ->
New window comes up, Click on Commands -> Tools -> "Select Tool"
Click on Properties and set Hot Key to Ctrl+6 (same as ^6)

There is a Pro version of Exchange Editor which is not free and doesn't work with my spreadsheet. Be sure you're using the download from here.
https://www.tracker-software.com/pro...xchange-viewer.

I'm sorry I said in the last post
'and test Ctrl+6 to see that all text is being selected.'
I should have said press Ctrl+A for select, Ctrl+6 is for setting the tool.
The macro sends Select-Copy to the viewer then Pastes into spreadsheet.

Let me know if this changes anything.

Also the latest version sheet I posted above is the one I'm using and has some strange numbers before the date column and some formattimg I use for "BET" - "No BET" .
I'll clean the sheet up and repost later.

SHEETY had a good night with the doubles

Thanks Ray! After following your instructions in the above post it's working great now. I look forward to trying many variations of impact factors and thorough testing of course. I'll definitely get many hours of enjoyment from your creation! It's members like you that make this forum so uniquely valuable.

I appreciate your prompt reply and I would have checked out your solution to the minor issue I was having much sooner but I was preoccupied with NFL football. I'm a huge Buffalo Bills fan and their loss to the Cards in the dying seconds of the game was unusually dramatic.
