Hi Craig, looking forward to the new meet. Can I ask which things you watch out for when you're handicapping TB races @ Zia? My results there have been mixed so far.

Zia is less speed friendly than most dirt tracks, even at distances shorter than 6f.

Hi GM10:
I have been watching last years races but have never played Zia Park before.
From watching the races, I think early speed is less of a factor here. Late speed seems to do well here. But with a new dirt surface and the fact we have not had notable rain for months, that may change some as we go forward.
Thanks,
Craig

Interesting about the surface change. We'll see. I wonder if the altitude has an effect on preferred running style as well.

Saturday Pick's and Plays!
Hi People:
My best bet on Saturday at Zia Park is #7 in race 10 who should go wire to wire again but not quite sure if his winning margin will be ten legnths once more!
For my longshots and a $28.00 Pick 4 (50c base) check out my blog:
http://racecallercraig.blogspot.com/...-zia-park.html
Thanks,
Craig

Sundays Picks and Plays.
Sunday is the $100k Premiere Handicap with horses from the east coast meeting rivals from the west coast. I think the top weighted #4 Native Ruler can go one better than at Mountaineer last time out.
If you want to see my Best Bet, a $40 50c Pick 4 play and my Lucky Longshots please visit:
http://racecallercraig.blogspot.com/
Thanks,
Craig.
