Agree, especially those confused partisans such as yourself and elysian ...

You guys have been always wrong on all your expert thoughts and opinions for over 3+ years now. It is no longer laughable.

So how do self-absorbed experts (ha-ha-ha) save face for all this stupidity over these 3+ years now?

By attempting to 'insult' people who differ with their childish, naive and boring rants by calling us fanboys and partisans, that's how.

'Insulted' we are not and you can go to the bank on that.

The hate-Trump partisans repeatedly told us his policies will never work ...

... and will hurt our economy. Yet, the extent of how much they've been proven wrong about this is quite stunning. Still, they are never in doubt.

American manufacturing jobs have boomed to a more than 20-year high as President Trump has imposed a wide range of tariffs on imported steel, aluminum, and Chinese productsdooming predictions made by free traders that have yet to pan out.

U.S. manufacturers added 284,000 jobs in the last year, the most jobs added in the sector in a single year since 1997, as Breitbart News’s Economics Editor John Carney notes. In December 2018, alone, about 32,000 factory jobs were created.

American manufacturing is vital to the prosperity of communities, as every one manufacturing job supports about 3.6 American jobs in other sectors of industry.

Finally, here's some real good advice from little ol' me for all the clear, sound-minded thinkers on this site:

Never take stock market or business advice from an 'economist' and never get a mortgage through a mortgage 'broker'.

Did Trump work for yahoo at one time...or did those in charge at Yahoo previously work for Trump....or maybe they all went to the same school of economics???

The similarities are

Someone has conceptual problems with cause and effect. Trump put tariffs on steel and aluminum, increasing prices to users. That caused users, i.e., manufacturers, to increase production, and therefore use of steel and aluminum?

Those results would indicate that manufacturing grew in spite of tariffs, and probably would have grown more without them.

On the flip side you have Nancy Pelosi and the Demwits announcing load and clear that they care more about illegal Aliens than they do about American citizens. The left could careless about Ronil Singh.

I'll get right on that........

I know, I know - image and reputation are everything around here.
If you only knew the number of sleepless nights I've had lately.......

Sometimes it is, Ely...sometimes it is.

Had a friend whose mortgage broker fudged her income to get a mortgage approved. I strongly advised her not to overlook the deliberate ‘error.’ Foolishly she went along with his plan, anyway. After a few years of paying interest only, the principle kicked in. The mortgage broker had already scammed his commission...never to be heard from again. The friend lost her home to foreclosure.

Now tell me, who abused his knowledge? Pretty scary, wouldn’t you say?

Yep, I really have a lot of respect for mortgage brokers...especially those operating during those get-them-approved-at-any-cost years where lots of desperate and/or hopeful people where scammed by those with some very scary knowledge.

I truly hope that you weren't one of them, Ely.
