He stated they DO NOT use N95 masks when just going into a room with a COVID patient where no such procedures were to be performed. They use regular masks instead.
READ what the CDC wrote, which I only "copied"

Nobody said anyone has to use an N95 mask.....unless you're going to be around "aeriolized" stuff.

Nothing I said, or that the CDC said, says anything different than what you just quoted the doctor said.

The important word here is "aereolized". Aerolized can happen when you are out at walmart and somebody coughs or sneezes on you. Or they are talking and spitting a little while talking. See? You don't have to be inbubating someone at Walmart. That's why 6' is suggested, because then you are not "in the cloud" (aerolized cloud).

And that's why, if patient isn't coughing on you, or sneezing on you, you do not "need" an N95 mask.

But if you aren't doing a procedure, and somebody SPEWS some droplets out of their nose or mouth, it now aerolized, and if they have covid-19, then it lands on your mouth or nose or tongue, you have just been "exposed". A regular surgical mask can of course, help with this.

This is where we got the 6 feet social distancing from. Somebody didn't just make that distance up.

Have Trump say he's gonna declare martial law and call off elections for four years, so that all can remain safe from the virus.

Then you'll see everyone say "oh wow, we made a mistake...this is nothing at all..." Doc Fauci will probably be the first one to the mic to make that announcement.

LMAO

You are very welcome, PaceAdvantage.

If you are one who believes "this is nothing at all" and that a simple announcement from Trump would "make it all go away", you are certainly entitled to your opinion.

Now get out there with your phone video camera and have some fun.

P.S. if you run into any conspiracy theorists would you mind asking them to stop sending Fauci death threats.......I can't imagine what this world would be like without doctors who understand diseases and arithmetic progressions of contagion. Thank goodness for them and god bless them 10000x. I for one have no desire to live back in the Middle Ages.

Respectfully, again...not true....

You wrote: "That is why doctors are wearing n95's when getting close to patients."

And this is not true. Doctors are getting close to patients (close, to me, means being in the same room...) without using N95s. You made it seem that they are wearing these N95s when going into their hospital rooms at all times, and that doesn't seem to be the case.

Awww....are you going to now throw me into that camp because I took the ball you threw at me and ran with it?

Remember, I included the LOL emoticon when I said "good stuff."

So if anyone comes at me and tries to tell me I am an advocate or believer in the above hashtag, you will immediately be banned forever from this site.

I do find it interesting, however. People now have a lot of time on their hands, and if they feel like taking a ride, so be it.

As for Fauci death threats. I'm going to guess almost every person thrust into the national media spotlight for weeks and months on end, will receive a death threat at least once from the various amounts of nutcases we have in this world.

Hell, I've received death threats....LMAO

So you all should be nicer to me. I can't imagine what the world would be like without PaceAdvantage.com.

So I'm reading about Chris Cuomo's adventures with COVID-19....

I just don't get it...really I don't...I must be just a total idiot (I'm sure you all will agree with that, and that's fine).

He's going on and on about this 103 fever. As if nobody has ever had a fever that high before.

I've had plenty of 103 and higher fevers....mainly as a kid...but the last time I had the flu, which was years ago...I had a fever that high...it's not all that special, Chris.

Then he goes on about the shivering, although I think he called it tremors at one point...that's a little scarier term, I guess, so better to use that word...and he said he was shivering so hard he thinks he chipped a tooth...

Yeah, Chris...when you have a high fever, you get the chills...you shiver like crazy a couple of times during the height of your fever. Again, I would think, most of us have been there...done that.

Next he talks about the aches...body aches...yup...I had those too...and they were awful....hated that part.

Then he mentions hallucinations...and I'm like like Jesus Christ Chris...enough already.

So delirious....so sick....so drained from lack of sleep...yet there he is, putting on a show from his basement in self-isolation....

I know when I had the flu the last time (at least I think it was the flu...who knows...it might have been COVID-16), I couldn't do anything but stay in bed...so I guess COVID-19 isn't that bad afterall....

This is a difficult situation. An asymptomatic person could unknowingly infect other people and those infected people could die and infect others who could die.

Take Typhoid Mary for example. Fascinating story about her. She knew she infected people with typhoid, but kept changing jobs and even changed her name until the authorities were finally able to find her and force her into quarantine:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Mallon

I suspect until more is known about covid the country will be shut down, but this too shall pass and we will eventually get back to normal, but it might be a rocky road to recovery. Too many unknowns at this point.

Do you think people who have died from something like cancer, but also tested positive for COVID, are listed as COVID deaths?

Given the highly accurate stats thus far, probably not....

Then again, I guess everyone who dies and tests positive for COVID, dies from COVID....

I've pretty much given up all hope of the above at this point. No joke. The impact and the changes are just way too drastic, and another virus is bound to rear its head sooner rather than later.

We have set the most dangerous of precedents.

That's a good point. People die of pneumonia all the time in hospice care. They are at the end of their life and then develop pneumonia, but it was cancer or just old age that killed them.

However, cancer is not contagious. Is pneumonia contagious? I don't know to be honest. People died of the Spanish Flu due to complications from pneumonia caused by the flu. A lot fewer would have died had they had anti-biotics to fight the pneumonia back then.

The only way to know for sure is to do a viral load test. And I guarantee you that is/was NOT being done.

You test positive? You die? COVID is your killer. Nothing else matters.

You have a heart attack? Die? Test positive for COVID? COVID is your killer.

etc.
