Please help the people and horses impacted by San Luis Rey Downs fire

I know this was posted in the San Luis Rey thread, but I thought it deserved it's own thread.

DONATIONS SOUGHT TO HELP THOSE IMPACTED BY SAN LUIS REY DOWNS TRAINING CENTER FIRE; ‘GO FUND ME’ ACCOUNT CREATED AND MUCH-NEEDED CLOTHING FOR DISPLACED WORKERS TO BE COLLECTED AT SANTA ANITA

Go here and give what you can:

Thanks!

Donated also. The heroic female trainer who suffered severe burns, the others who risked their lives to help... they need our donations.

Way ahead of me PA, as I was about to post this page.

Hopefully that $350K goal gets massively surpassed.

Here's a list of some of the things people need. One idea was to order these things on Amazon so they can be easily shipped directly to Del Mar. Also please remember to use @smileamazon to benefit the charity of your choice.

Debby Baltas c/o Del Mar Thoroughbred Club 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd Del Mar, CA 92014

Size Medium Men’s
- jackets
- Sweatshirts
- Underwear
Women’s clothing 14-16 (only 4 women)

- Jackets
Toiletries:
- bar soap
- Deodorant
- Toothbrushes
Shoes: Workmen Type
Cots
Locks with keys (not combinations)

Every little bit helps.

How can you not admire a person who'd giver her life for her horses----praying for sure.

I have some friends who aren't even into horse racing who are so touched by her.......they want to send her cards.

Anyone have any idea how to do this?

My first thought would be to send to Alexis Garske at Santa Anita. She's the one in charge of the gofundme fundraiser. She would make sure that any cards or other items get to Martine (or anyone else something is addressed to).
