India ditches dollar, will trade in Rupees with multiple countries going forward
We're on the way to 10 cents on the dollar in a couple years. ALL the politicians screwed us to death

What's sad is, people don't realize the financial devastation this brings in a few years. If India is saying Fuck joe Biden, others will follow.
Once this happens there's no turning back. This worries the hell out of me to be honest

There’s not a thing I want from India. Horrible culture. Nasty place. Even the food sucks.

Early during the pandemic at my grocery store, I sent out a coupon by email to my registered customers. The coupon said... "$10 off with a $10 purchase". I did it to see what the customer reaction would be. You can't believe how many Hindu customers would put their groceries on the conveyor belt of the register, and tell the cashier to stop ringing up the stuff as soon as the order reached $10...so they could take the entire order for free. The rest of the stuff they would tell the cashier that they didn't want it.
One Hindu man even asked me if he was allowed to buy $5 in groceries...and take the other $5 in cash.

Interesting. My experiences with that culture was quite the opposite. They spared no expense for the education and development of their kids. Wished we had the same drive and expectations of our kids as well as ourselves as individuals
I worked with many engineers from India, as well as hundreds / over a thousand parents from India when we taught, coached, held chess tournaments in Dallas. Hard working and frugal. Not cheap but frugal.

I understand the challenge to the dollar as the world’s fiat/reserve currency. I think China tried that for about a second or two.

Brazil, India, Saudi Arabia, China, of course Russia. All have shown an interest to ditch the existing norm. That leaves us vulnerable going forward. Others likely to follow.

There will always be challenges however the US is in the best position to meet them. Economically we are head and shoulder above all nations combined. Plus we have a not-so-secret weapon…
The 7th fleet.
If you took a poll of the world’s population 99.999% would rather have dollars than rupees in their pocket. Or any other currency.
