Why did YouTube censor discussion of Ivermectin?

You'd be hard pressed to find a more rational thinker than Bret Weinstein...and yet, even he gets censored by YouTube. He isn't QAnon...he isn't even a Republican or a Conservative....far from it...
Yet, people still ignore this nasty shit going on and think everything is just AOK
It's pretty mind-boggling at this point. I don't have any answers for this insanity.

Both Eric and Bret Weinstein are very bright and interesting.
People still don't get it.
We are slowly becoming a totalitarian state where leftists, Marxists, socialists, Christian haters, self loathing whites, and other extremists in politics, technology, media, and the intelligence community are now running things.
Mental illness is now normal.
Deviant behavior is now normal.
Being normal is now disdained.
Reality is now the lie.
Lying for "their" greater good is appropriate.
Telling inconvenient truths is punishable and worthy of cancellation.
People that think for themselves are to be canceled or deprived of information.
Racism isn't racism unless it's whites doing it.
You must always judge people as individuals based on their character unless of course they are white, then the entire group is responsible of the actions of a few.
You either get with the program or you are destroyed.
We are living in a twisted world.
The simple days of republicans and democrats debating tax rates, spending, budgets, how best to help the poor etc.. and compromising are over.
Freedom and God lost.
Totalitarianism and Satan won.
I'm sitting here playing horses, watching the markets, listening to music and living my life as I always have in utter amazement as the US is turning itself into an unrecognizable hell hole.

How can a person NOT think it is odd that we are not exploring other options toward COVID treatment and resolution OTHER than the vaccines? The push is vaccine, vaccine, vaccine...they call everything else that may work a falsehood or impossible or "not the right science"
I don't get how level-headed people (i.e. not government) cannot think this way. It is mind boggling.

Even if you try hard to not be conspiracy minded you'd almost have to be an idiot to not see that they've been full of shit on a lot of what's been going on all along. The best possible spin you can put on it is that they have a strong view on what's best for people and believe they have to lie in order to get people to do what's best for themselves. Obviously, I call BS on that. I think it's corrupt and evil, but that doesn't make it any easier to figure out what the truth is.
