I like to look up mares and foals on this website and one advantage is it is free to do that but disadvantage is most of the info not up to date. Any suggested other sites or services? Thank you

For dam progeny, use Dam's Foal Search on Equibase

http://www.equibase.com/profiles/Results.cfm?type=Yob

Just type in the dam name, and the list of foals will appear, even if unraced. You can then research their individual Equibase pages.

I enjoy searching for stallion niks for my prize mare. Equibase has a sight that produces pdf report with foal pedigree, dosage, nik grade, and projected race proficiency for the match. Enter your stallion choice, find your mare, and in a jiffy you're looking at your new foal.
Try Werk or TrueNicks. It's great fun.

If you're just looking for stallion progeny and race results equibase has all that stuff and it IS up to date.
