Link to the Covid-19 Dashboard for Maricopa County, AZ:
https://phdata.maricopa.gov/Dashboar...se&vo=viewonly
Maricopa County, AZ is where the greater Phoenix metro area (population approx 4.5 million) is located.
The dashboard has boxes you can check to (graphically) display new cases by day, new hospitalizations by day, and deaths per day.
The dark line on each of the graphs is a 12 day trendline.
Based on the 12 day trendline on the new cases by day graph, it does look like Maricopa County, AZ has peaked.

just a gut feel of how this is going to go up and down, its not rooted in any science. We are 5 months in or so so I figure it feels another year and half and we should have a pretty good handle between immunity and vaccines.
It could be a month, could be a decade, just my random uneducated guess.

Here...you remember this website, right?
Just click on USA and then Sweden and compared the daily cases graphs:

Jeez...one would think someone like you would actually know this.
Kinda embarrassing that you have to ask me a question like that.

I do not doubt the info ofg your graph, but could not figure out how you displayed the US and Sweden side by side. Did not knows you could do that.
My objection as I pointed out, was the other issues you glossed over omitting in your comparison the US versus the other European and Scandinavian countries. And specifically your apparent acceptance of a much higher (10 times) death raster as to those other Scandinavian countries.

why are you picking an article a month old when I am talking about current events. Its hard to take you seriously when you do that.
We had 1500 cases yesterday, it was 3500 last week. Lets see what it is today as Mondays have been skewed due to weekend reporting.
Here is another article, that they have more free tests than demand right now.

However, apparently not so talented as to refute the enormous disparity in cases, hospitalizations, and fatalities in Trumplandia versus Scandinavia and the European Union.

quote: The first randomized clinical trial testing hydroxychloroquine as an early treatment for mild covid-19 found the drug was no better than a placebo in patients who were not hospitalized.
The trial results were published Thursday in the Journal Annals of Internal Medicine. The study, conducted by researchers at the University of Minnesota Medical School, involved 491 adults and showed that the medication did not work better than a placebo at reducing the severity of symptoms over 14 days. Results from a similar trial conducted in Spain were published shortly afterward.

Who can figure what the COVID rules are? I'm at the deli today when bunch of kids from nearby wrestling academy come in for lunch. I ask if they are being limited to just conditioning drills and they tell me: nope, full-on wrestling is permitted and no masks required! Good for them, but how the heck is that reconciled with all the restrictions being placed on local businesses?

What does this have to do with anything? How about addressing the fact that you are PIMPING ANECDOTAL EVIDENCE, when you've spent the last SIX MONTHS SCOLDING US ON HOW USELESS ANECDOTAL EVIDENCE IS....
You dolt.

I don't care who the news source is. Here are two interviews with a leading epidemiologist from Yale making the the case FOR hydroxychloroquine with an explanation for when and why it works and why some previous studies have failed and others show how effective it is. (basically they did not follow the drug combination recommended by the initial French epidemiologist that started this whole thing or the patients were given the drug way too late)

Yup, ANECDOTAL reports I have heard say it is important it is given EARLY ON.
When people wait a week because they are afraid to go to the hospital or whatever, it's too late to be effective.
But whatever...let's just make sure we try and BURY potentially LIFE SAVING medication because TRUMP mentioned it first, right LIBS?
You see where I'm going with this?
THAT'S HOW ****ED UP THIS COUNTRY HAS BECOME...BECAUSE OF THE HATRED FOR POTUS.
THE EMPHASIS ALL ALONG WITH THIS MEDICATION WAS TO HURRY UP AND DISPROVE ITS EFFECTIVENESS SO WE CAN MAKE FUN OF TRUMP FOR BRINGING IT UP...
Seriously...that's how sick and ill these liberals and people with this absolute and horrid derangement are...so demented and sick and one-track minded that they would rather kill people then bring to light something that might give Trump some positive PR.
