Pfizer now seeking FDA approval for a 3rd dose. This will be an ongoing thing just like the flu shot except you might have to go every 6 months

Deaths steady. CDC says that 94% getting the virus are unvaccinated, while 100% of the deaths are from the unvaccinated. At this point, let's just move on. The vaccinated and unvaccinated can live as they wish, with the unvaccinated knowing that if they die, they have no one to blame. Conversely, the vaccinated shouldn't fear the unvaccinated since you likely won't get it and if you do, you won't die from it. It's called choice.

more than likely there probably aren't that many people dying of this thing now from new cases in the prior 3 months or even longer ago. the total amount of deaths is less than 1000 per week now. its probably a smaller number now than what the annual flu kills. the treatment techniques are much better and more effective than they were 18 months ago... also the people that were at high risk have taken better precautions now than the start of this virus. in short, this is pretty much under control now and people should start living normal lives.

Tell that to several dem governors who want to do lockdowns again. As if that ever helped.

All you have to do is look at California, no one was more draconian than Governor Newsome, yet California was pretty much at the national averages in cases and deaths. His freaking color system by county for restrictions was a clown show at it's finest.

Also look at all the rest home deaths. The average age someone enters a rest home is 83 and the average length a person lives after being admitted is 6 months. How many of those people would of died anyway, but they became Covid deaths?

no question that states did react with their heads cutoff. the republican governor in Mass. shut the whole state down when he thought it was the right thing to do..

in my opinion, the right thing to do was to separate sick people from the healthy. that's the way these things were treated for centuries.. there were some god-awful diseases that got treated the same way, leprosy, cholera, tuberculosis, and polio come to mind.

Corona Virus protocol insanity had stupidity on both sides of the aisle. The Republican governor of neighboring Maryland ordered the state police to shut down a chain of self serve car washes. You know the ones that have concrete block floor to ceiling walls between the stalls. Around me they took down all the basketball hoops in the school yards and parks. It seems a lot of politicians have zero common sense and no connection to the average Joe.
Most groups of people shooting baskets together or playing 3 on 3 know each other. Taking the nets down probably puts them together indoors somewhere watching TV or playing video games. That makes the chances of transmission worse, not better.
