Well, the short signal came while I was sleeping...damn sleep...and to be honest, not 100% certain anyway if I would have taken it, even though in hindsight, it would obviously be working out...anyhoo....laying low for now...

Oil up $10 a barrel to $126 on Sunday night futures....S&P down about 60 points from Friday's close.

Palladium up $122 tonight, Platinum up $22. pretty soon, no living human will be able to afford a catalytic converter.
Ford Motor Company has come back and filled its gap.. it has now surpassed the gap on the downside. i am going to want to own this one at some point. maybe i will speculate in the high $12's

GE did a reverse stock split over a year ago... this is one of the stocks i remain short on now along with Visa, Mastercard, and American Distress. you can almost throw darts at the market and do well to the short side as long as you stay away from anything that has to do with commodities. the financials look pretty ripe for a good haircut as well. someone that knows the high-tech and biotech industries can probably do better than me at this.
i am thinking these markets got to go down at least 40% off the top on this leg down. but i am not discounting further declines from there down the road.

Gold just hit $2000 the ounce. this can get up to $2500 faster than oil going to $150

this Palladium is blowing my mind now, its up $385 or 14%. that's friggen pure insanity. nobody gonna be able to buy cars now or they are going to have to lift the pollution requirements. this is sicko..
once silver busts through $30 and breaks through $50, that thing will run further than the Tesla stock did 2 years ago. they are going to need silver in a big way to make those solar panels if there is a silver lining here, no pun intended, is that you might be paying more than $100,000 for an electric vehicle, but it won't cost you any money for fuel going forward as long as you can charge it up from your house.
