By extension it is a blow to the Democrap Party. These public unions often mobilize for Demorat candidates and causes of the day.

I love this excerpt from the FNC link in the thread that closed.
AFSCME President Lee Saunders had argued that strong labor unions are needed because they give “the strength in numbers [workers] need to fight for the freedoms they deserve,” including retirement plans and health care.
Can someone explain to me how "retirement plans and health care" are "freedoms"? What does that even mean!?

Working for the United States Postal Service, I saw too many examples of people who did not join the union, but came crawling to it when they got in trouble; then went back to union bashing after the union won their case.

Almost anyone could explain that to you. The difficulty comes in getting you to understand.

You go ahead and pay someone - that is your right.
NOT paying them is also right.
