Internet Disruptions Far and Wide?

I've been having internet outages and slowdowns, on and off, throughout the day, which is quite rare for me. After calling a few out of state friends in FLA, AZ, TX and NV, they've been experiencing similar glitches ......Wondering if some of you PA'ers are having problems as well.

No problems here, other than the usual slow service from Rectum.
Been on most of the day capping the weekend.

Probably will wish I had had problems!

From the Las Vegas area, I lost the Internet about 7:00 PM PT. Then I went to bed.

I had trouble connecting to my VPN even when I used servers in different parts of the US. The service also seemed slower than normal. I also got disconnected a few times in the AM over the last several days. My Internet service seemed to be fine, though.

I live out in the boonies now with horrible service (Hughes). If there were a disruption far and wide I doubt I'd notice it.

According to reports, Cloudflare was down for about 30 minutes yesterday do to a firewall rule that blocks malicious javascript. FB, Whatsapp, and Instagram were also apparently affected, but I don't use those apps.

My comp has been acting up lately, as well. I'm getting messages after the computer hangs up that says "CHROME IS NOT RESPONDING". I've used Chrome browser forever--with no problems.

So I go ahead and download Firefox and switch over--everything's running fine. Then today, it started hanging up--with the message "FIREFOX IS NOT RESPONDING"

Really can't blame this on the internet though--probably just need to delete a ton of temp files and assorted junk.

I get that also. Last about 20 seconds...or the cursor freezes for a minute or so. My computer's pretty old (really old). Figured it was mostly that.
