So yeah...my method obviously got me out when it shouldn't have, as RTY has gone up 20 pts since I exited my trade...but that's what happens sometimes when you are trading a method.
There have been other times where it has gotten me out at pretty much the exact perfect time to exit. These are the things you learn to accept as a trader if you are actually going to succeed at trading.
Only get upset when you DON'T FOLLOW the method and you MISS OUT as a result (like what happened to me last week when I missed out on a 90pt trade).

if you look at the chart, it doesn't look like it's saying short...so if I do go short, it will probably be a loser...the chart itself still looks quite long....it's barely pulled back off the highs of this afternoon....but a method is a method...

kind of surprisingly, I haven't gotten stopped out yet, and the trade simply moved in my direction almost from the start...up almost 10pts at the moment...who knows what will happen from here...definitely will be staying in this one through the day and into the evening if I don't get stopped out...

What a difference a few hours makes...have already given back 27pts since the last update and now stand up only 30pts...oh well...that's what happens...

it's becoming clear with this trade that it's either going to be boom or bust, because I'm still holding...and could hold over the holiday if I don't get stopped out, which is something I never really do....

The resilience being shown at the moment is telling me I'm just going to get stopped out today at some point...whatever...I followed my method, so nothing to complain about...I can only admire the roller coaster ride that was this trade...

After examining the numbers going into the close and taking into account the market is closing in about 15 minutes and won't reopen until Monday evening, even though technically I'm supposed to hold onto this trade, I am going to cover this short sometime in the next 10 minutes...my current projections show that I will likely close this trade within a few hours of the market opening on Monday evening, and I just don't think it's worth the risk to hold it over the long weekend....
Best just take the 20 or so points of profit now and be done with it...
