He also says:

Western journalism has completely lost its way.

An old friend of mine - a lawyer - had lunch with a newspaper publisher about 30 years ago.

He asked why they had not run a particular story. Didn't they feel it was their DUTY to publish the TRUTH?

The response was to say that, as the publisher of a major newspaper, it was their DUTY to DECIDE WHAT NEWS the public SHOULD READ.

To me, this was a shocking revelation, but I never considered it would become the NEW NORMAL.

I also find it interesting that in 2014 when essentially the same thing happened that happened in 2022, we were not sending Ukraine billions of dollars, Americans were not flying Ukrainian flags, there were no "We Stand with Ukraine" profile frames on Fakebook, Dems were not screaming that Putin was going to invade all of Europe, or that we needed to send billions of dollars to Ukraine so our sons and daughters would not have to die on the Russian front and on and on and on.

What changed?
