Oh well, Marion Berry served as DC mayor from 1995 to 1999 after being videotaped being a crackhead and spending time in prison. He was mayor when he was busted as well in his first term.
Nothing surprises me anymore.

Tom and I can't help being in these blue states, JR.
California doesn't have two major perverts running for major offices, we just have corrupt crooks that can be bought off.
Although.....the mayor of San Diego is a disgusting creepy Weiner type.
He is a former congressman Democrat of course. The corrupt California Democratic Party defamed a Conservative gay man who ran against this creepy mayor and lost. We had a gay Republican congressman who was also defamed by Democrats every time he ran. He always won anyway, because he was a very good congressman. The Dems sent out gay slur postcards to all registered Dems in his district, if a Republican would have done such a thing, it would have prompted national protests!
So Ralph is right, California is actually worse than NY. There is probably more corruption, if that's possible.
You guys won't believe this, but my husband, John Shear just got a phone call on his cell phone.....from the California Democratic Party.....just now.
How in the HELL could they have gotten his phone number??? He is also a registered Republican. Honest, just now, we got the call. I hope they call me, I'll really tell them off! Can you imagine
