Roadster & Instagrand

I know its soooooooooooooo early but looks like we might have 2 good prospects so far. They may face each other is the Los Al Futurity.

Roadster has an interesting pedigree with Mr. P sire and dam sire line. I was underwhelmed by his last effort, albeit a winning one but suspect his best races are ahead going longer. Instagrand posted a nice time while blowing out the competition. The pedigree doesn't scream distance but neither did Justify. If I had to pick one now for the Juvenile I'd go with Instagrand. Reminds me of Nyquist.

I reserve judgement on Instagrand until he runs in a race with legit pace, he last was a slow-fast shape, and that is ideal for blowout front end wins. I do think he is very talented though so that may just be him dealing with what he had to face.

Agree on the race shape. I get the feeling after watching the replay, he was almost begging for a challenge and no one wanted to do that. Think there is a lot of talent here that needs to be tested first. Still do not think that betting against is a wise choice.

yea, I have seen horses like that go two ways, they just run faster figures when the pace increases and still crush, or they crumble.

Given Roadster lost ground around the turn I doubt he could turn the tables on him until they go two turns.
