Why would you list the stock symbol, you want people to sell since you dislike Churchill?...
I can't say you are wrong with your assumption. I am not a stockholder in CHDN or any of their competitors(been in cash for 6 months and very happy). I was trying to point out that they are a casino company and only care about the shareholders and casino players. They really have no concern for the racing part of their business and what they are doing with Calder is proof of how little they care about the racing in their corporate strategy. Hence the lousy treatment of racing players of this CORPORATION.

Another example I could mention is how the Fairgrounds had to fight with the company and Louisiana threatened to pull their casino license if they did not make repairs to the turf course which is another example of how they neglect(DON'T CARE) about the racing side of their business. Read this article from a few years back and especially the comments that follow after the article. Churchill Downs is not in the business of racing except on Derby day when they can gouge the customer! Do you think CHDN (Churchill Downs Inc) would do anything if there was no threat of losing their casino license like they would have if they didn't take care of the racing problems at, THEIR OWN racetrack AND CASINO, the Fairgrounds was dealing with?

Don't hold your breath. I am trying other ADW's so I can finally rid myself of this sh*t company. Racing is not important to this casino company.

I emailed them my very polite complaint. Surprised to receive a personal reply from a rep. He said they plan to sunset the Classic and Express interfaces soon. His tone was not hopeful they would stay. Instead, he wanted to give me training on the new interface and attempted to explain how/why the new interface is better.

Horrible decision on their part.

I always love it when someone tries to explain to their customers why what they want is not what they really want.

Continuing problems with must re login ,unable to access results, unable to view bets past or current, mutiple messages "affiliate id unknown call customer support"( I tried a couple of times ,no rep so I hung up eventually) . Once in a while it is possible to get out and re login and solved the problems sometimes not. What ever happened to the poster who supposedly represented TS I wonder?

Sad story,
TD

AMEN. I like having 5 tracks to select from to wager on. I can find the race i want to wager on of the 5 tracks I have to select from. I can't view the race conditions of 5 tracks with the new interface in a matter of seconds. Change always causes people to bitch but I can't think of any changes Twinspires has shoved down our throats that I have ever liked. Until now, none were as HUGE of a change as this! I tried the new interface prior to December 10 knowing they would shove it down my throat but it does not work for me. For some reason, keeping the classic interface is not in their plans and that will be the nail in the coffin that causes me to leave twinspires..

Sounds a like with the situation with the "New Coke". Twinspires should take a lesson from them and go back to the old prefered product. Good thing they at least didn't have rapist Bill Cosby touting it.

They may, but I wouldn't count on it. The recent changes seem to be intentional to drive business away, though that doesn't make any sense.

A buddy of mine who uses TS about a dozen times a year hates the new interface, and wrote them an email to complain about it - though he hasn't heard anything back.

If Twinspires is smart, they'll ditch the new interface, and replace it with a menu that adjusts to the device being used, is intuitive, and provides a reliable experience. This would mean properly managing cookies, not displaying tracks you never play, and fully displaying the menu options at all times (a problem with the Classic menus). They need to retain the Youbet (Pro) and Winticket (Classic) interfaces as well. I agree with the earlier comment that it's designed to deposit money and play as many races and tracks now, rather than being a useful wagering interface.

I do not expect Twinspires to do the smart thing.

In the meantime, I've switched all my play over to Xpressbet, and while I used to think that interface was clunky compared to the Winticket version, I'm liking it more - and for the record, it's been a stable (read non-changing menu) for many years now. Better support and better video signal too. I'm over the hump there, and now TS will be my emergency backup ADW only.

I do believe that when things change, people will complain about it at first. Over time they will realize that the changes were an improvement. In the case of Twinspires, I can't think of ANY change they have made over the last few years that has been an improvement!!

I have never been asked by Twinspires how they could improve the website or my wagering experience. Maybe they should ask their customers through an annual survey what they could do better rather than force feed these lack of improvements down our throats. I am sure these "improvements" are made by the cheapest technology help they can find that have never wagered on a race! If they dump the classic wagering interface(which they screwed up by having a third of the page filled with unnecessary UNimprovements a few months ago) I will be gone forever!

Also, join me in never visiting a Twinspires casino property. I am sure they would not treat a casino customer like they treat their racing customers!

I wouldn't say hiding. I would say lurking.

It seemed it was best not to proactively engage, but I'm happy to respond to anything I'm asked.

when twinspires took over youbet i thought they were geniuses. i figured they bought it for the great platform that no one else came close to i said to myself with platform and content twinspires willl have it all. for their own reasons they modified the platform now they got rid of the whole thing. what we have now are unhappy customers and people leaving where they should have ruled the industry
