WRD "Graphics Delay"
Amazing that winning numbers got crushed in last at WRD after a "graphics delay" Exa Fin pool showed $226 and $97 quin came back $119 and $74 and 6-1 Winner paid $10.40... Thats amazing that late bettors just happened to crush the right numbers...

The winning is still shown at 6-1 on the Twinspires tote board...even though the race went off over an hour ago.

Never have I felt as much like a degenerate gambler as now...while betting real money in places like Will Rogers and Fonner. What has my money done to me, and I treat it so disrespectfully?

big 4th choice win and 4th over 5th choice exacta bet just as they loaded?
more than 50% of WPS and Ex pool came in after the 'delay'.
pretty clear someone either knew that (1st,2nd choices) didn't eat their Wheaties, or flat-out bet after the start.
greed and hubris exposed their advantage
that's OK, probably nothing will come of it

If you log onto Twinspires right now, and you go to WRD 9th race, the listed - daily double was supposed to pay $325. It paid $257. This isn't a "game", gentlemen...this is a RACKET!

That pool closed when the 8th went off. Or did it?

You are absolutely right, Thask. There will be NOTHING even said about it...much less done.
I bet the 4 through Twinspires...and like you said...the 4 was still reading 6/1, while the payout was $10 and change. Ridiculous.

The daily double was for the 9th and 10th races...so the pool should have closed when the 9th race went off. But...why is the expected DD payoff listed at $325 even until NOW?

If there is anything resembling an "industry" supporting this game...then there should be PLENTY said and done about this. And if there isn't...then this game isn't worth even one more thin dime of our money...IMO.

Race 4 at WRD the 4-5 exacta showed $51 at he gate which was about where it was for the last few minutes.
Paid $24 after the race.
Appears to be some tote scumbaggery going on there.

I've noticed radical changes at the off in both horses independent odds and exotic payouts a lot lately at Will Rogers. I know this happens at every track (while they were operating) but Will Rogers really has some huge swings at the off.
Two examples from yesterday are attached. The #7 in the 2nd race went from 6-1 to 5/2 at the off and was 10-1 morning line so this horse was meant yesterday and ran a good race, fading only late to finish 2nd. The #6 in 6th race was another example but that horse was the obvious choice. However he did drop from 2-1 to 6/5 at the off.
Normally at these smaller tracks, big odds swings near or at the off aren't uncommon since the pools are usually small but the pools are as high as ever for tracks like Will Rogers at the moment. Win pools yesterday were 3-4x times larger then the Monday March 16th card.
Regardless of any of this I'll be back grinding Will Rogers today

I recall there was also a long delay in posting the payoffs for the last race yesterday as well.

WRD race 2
In yesterday's second race at WRD, I bet the 8-7 exacta combination as the horses were loading. The 8 was 7-2 and the 7 was 8-1. The AmWager exacta matrix showed a payoff of $47.
I hit the exacta with the matrix still showing $47. As the winner was being lead to the winner's circle, the odds dropped on both horses to 5-2 and the exacta payoff dropped to $25.60.
Displeased I was, as Yoda might say.
Mick
