Got an ad today from NYRA Bets:
It opened with " We'll make you a deal - bet $25 this weekend (from now through Sunday) with NYRA Bets and we'll put $5 into your account."
$5? How can they afford to give all that money away?
75 years ago that probably was a good deal
My wife would be signing up right now...she checked her supermarket receipt and found she was overcharged by about a buck and a half. That woman got in her car with her receipt, drove to the store and got her $1.50.
She didn't mind she spent more on gas than she got back--it was the principle (or something)

since I started keeping up, that makes best5- 22 wins in the last 25 races for 88% winners, sure helps to narrow down the contenders

Very Nice!! 6 Exactas in their 8 races... What a day. I am going to have to start following that Ohio Racing much more closely.
Yesterday at GGX (Golden Gate, 02-19) although there were two nice winners in the $12 and $13 dollar ranges the Best 5 cleaned the card and went 8 for 8. Didn't drop a race. When the B5 gets in a rhythm, WATCH OUT!!!

$0.20 Pick-6 (5/3/7/1/5/5,13,14,15) Paid $712,824.06 (6OF6)
20 cent pick-6 @ GPX today. Wonder how much the winner spent on that ticket?
