Did a lot of watching today as I figured there were some dominant favorites, but still entertaining for me as well.

I hope this is not considered political and he is 100% Jewish; but I didn't know that Jews wasn't welcome in Dubai; so goodbye to everseeing the DWC live.

Don't be ridiculous!
Michael Tabor and other Jewish owners run horses all over the world;including Dubai.
Similarly Sheikh Mo runs his horse all over the world.
Anyone would have a problem in racing if they started banning Jewish people from racing. Can't think of anything more ridiculous.
Anything I know about racing came from the Jewish mentors whom I worked with in the East End of London (where Tabor came from;and where he made a lot of money playing kalooki).

I'm amazed they didn't do the Dubai route, he'd have been 1/5 for a 10 million dollar purse.
Even If I'm wrong and he could have gone to dubai.I 'm glad They stayed here instead.Good for Jim.

I'm Jewish also and I wouldn't go to Dubai under Any circumstances.
Enough of this. What's next for SB. Think he'll come East for the Met?

I'm glad as well, mostly for reasons that belong in off topic so I'll abstain.

Not to change the subject, but still, speaking of Motion. One I didn't see winning today, not at all, was Ring Weekend. I was looking at his figures, dismissing him. Then, looking dumbfounded when he came flying late. So typical of Motion off the layoff. My mistake, I didn't think he was G1 material. The shipping should have told me otherwise.

Cj...read of your surgery, you have a lot of figures to make from today. Be careful of the strain on your eyes at your computer. I had the surgery, went to 20/20.

Today, it sound like their plan was to keep SB in California until BC at Keeneland. The thought was "come get him".

EDIT: IK, I thought you were speaking of Shared Belief's stride. (I like the way SB drops his head!) You're speaking of Ring's. I'm sorry.

Definitely agree you; "boring" SB performance was not.

Question for you. Do you get just a little of the 1970s tingle when there were Affirmed, JO Tobin and Exceller on the West Coast with the likes of Forego and later Slew on the East Coast?

This might not be a year of HOF horses, but all divisions (3yo, Older, Turf, and F/M) look to be strong and competitive at this time. Barring injury or early retirement this should be a very good year; anxious for Belmont and Saratoga.

Doubt he is cutting back to a mile, but probably a target for Honor Code after today.
