Khozan
I'm surprised there isn't any buzz here about the debut of Khozan.
He's a million dollar half to Royal Delta and earned a Beyer of 102 after chasing an above PAR pace for a MSW race from post 14. There should probably be some buzz about the runner up too. IMO, that was a very strong race. Some decent horses got annihilated. If anything, I'd be worried it was too impressive for a debut.
About the only negative is that it's Pletcher at GP and some of his horses don't carry their form out of Florida.

I actually rated him and the winner of the Hutcheson the same, though on final time Khozan was faster. The pace was much faster in the Hutcheson though.

Khozan should only get better with distance with that pedigree.

I thought you'd at least wait until he and Pletcher left GP.
It will be interesting to see where his top is.

I know he jogged but the final Quarter of 26 and 3 is a tad slow

It was a strange track, he was finishing well under wraps.

his race turned out to be to easy and if it was someone else training the horse other than Pletcher or Baffert, i would say he would have a tough time going forward. but Pletcher does have time to train his horse with other real good horses and toughen him up, he has done it before many times, that's why he is very tough to beat. the horse certainly has plenty of talent, time will tell if he can move up to the next hurdle off this past race.

I saw him up close yesterday he's a neat looking average size colt with a nice demeanor about him. but didn't "ring any bells" as a derby horse to me, I could be wrong (wouldn't be the first time) .........

Any other sons of Distorted Humor won the K Derby?
He is a half to Royal Delta so he could be anything.
Another Wise Dan in the future?

Thanks..brings back memories..with Jose Santos up.Great race riding.
I miss Jerry Bailey. He was always Mr Reliable for me.
I'll never forget betting him on Sea Hero.
Down to my last $100;I had $80 on him..keeping $20 for a bite to eat.
I was sort of kicking myself when they crossed the line..why didn't I have a saver on the California horse Cavonnier?
No problem;Mr Reliable came through again.
