As a Gen Xer, I'm almost assured that I'll have to pay for former generations, and then post generations.
I work my ass off. I regularly work 70+ hour weeks. I've at least planned for $0 SS checks.

What you're going to find here... since I've read your posts for years... is that you and Trump actually agree on VERY LITTLE.

But see ELY, you continue to try and tell LHD and others how "little" we agree with Trump (somehow implying that we should not pull that lever for him).
Here's a bigger IMPLICATION........WE AGREE WITH HRC AND THE FAR LEFT EVEN LESS!!!!!

Reagan admitted it was a bandaid at the time.
Trumps solutions. Make us rich and jobs.
Responsible modern day Reagan Republican: Its ****ed... change it.
Trump: Not touching it. Jobs and wealth.

The issue of whether or not Christine Blasey-Ford lied last Friday is an interesting question that requires the careful consideration of a whole host of factors.
Sincere, intelligent, well-informed, responsible individuals continue to disagree about that issue.
That's just a fact that should give people on both sides pause.
More interestingly, the majority of people on both sides of this controversial issue insist that those on the other side must be stupid, gullible, prejudiced, naive, insincere, or diabolically scheming because the truth of the matter is SO OBVIOUS.
So obvious to them, that is.
Very few people stop to wonder how it could be possibly be that people who are pretty clearly sincere, conscientious, intelligent, well-informed, responsible, competent, and generally on-the-ball in all other aspects of life have such a crazy take on the Blasey-Ford/Kavanaugh issue.
How could people who are otherwise admirable and praiseworthy in at least as many ways as I am NOT SEE the obvious truth that I see?
No one is willing to consider the possibility that if certain people who are, in general, even smarter and more on the ball than me, disagree with me on the Blasey-Ford/Kavanaugh issue, then maybe I am mistaken in believing what I can't help but take as the obviously correct position here.
To add to it all, BOTH parties in the Blasey-Ford/Kavanaugh dispute have conducted themselves as like moral reprobates over the past few years, yet both sides and their adherents continue to MORALIZE every political tactic, as if they haven't forfeited the right to engage in that kind of talk long ago.
We're the good guys trying to bring about truth and justice in the world.
The other side is just evil and they're trying to wreck everything!
And, worse, they won't even acknowledge it.
That's a pretty fascinating situation to consider.
How could this have happened?

That's fine I didn't vote for them either but if you haven't noticed this board is a circle jerk for Trump!
Full of "Republicans" insofar that ACTUAL REPUBLICANS who attack the guy get chastised for it, leave, or post rarely.
Where is _______, Saratoga Mike, Clocker, etc.
Were/are they all Democrats too?
Instead of actually holding the PERSON you put in office accountable it's a goddamn rubberstamping session for everything.
To get back to the thread topic:
Women make up 50% of the electorate in this country... how is ramming through a guy with those kinds of accusations against him a smart thing to do?
Keep in mind you're talking to a person who SUPPORTED the nominee at the start. It's literally ****ing posted on here. Now I'm a dim...
The overwhelming reason why people are happy about the confirmation is "stick it to the libs." They have no care for the ramifications it may have. Nor the fact it fits the narrative that the Republican Party, once the big tent party, panders exclusively to white males to a T.
I offered to debate political issues from my very far right very libertarian position on the pretext you wouldn't bring them up... AND HERE WE ARE AGAIN.
Let's go to trade next... want to?

So you are stupid, and partisan to politics, and can't believe facts put right into your face.
That is all you had to say.

You are the one who took exception to my Reagan would be appalled right?
Your 401k has mostly flatlined this year as well right? 5-10%? I'll also guess it launched like crazy in 2010 right? Obama fan now?
Trump wants to cut taxes and regulation... that's where his Republican street cred stops.
Where to next? Trade?

My 401K has far from flatlined. I'm not as smart as you, but I move money to my advantage.
Obama years were pure flatllne. I had to put most of my funds in bonds because most investments were negative.
I'm not lying.

I don't see them on here consistently bashing trump either.

To get back to the thread topic:

When you look at the totality of the situation, where the DEMS did not want to lose that seat under any circumstances, one also has to wonder to what extremes they would go to. I mean could the dems also have someone accuse Kav? Knowing full well that ANY accusation would almost assuredly put the seat on hold. I mean its not like the DEMS would HIDE a letter till the eleventh hour? Its not like the accuser had ALL of her facts straight. All of her collaborators lined up willing to tell the SAME story. You see, when it was all said and done, from a non biased point of view, there was just as much to question on her side as his. And finally, at last I checked, you are innocent until PROVEN otherwise.
Now you can say this wasn't a legal proceeding and I will only say that NO MATTER WHO that nominee was, there was gonna be dirt slinging!! UPCHUCK said as much even before Kav was the one nominated!!!
Keep in mind you're talking to a person who SUPPORTED the nominee at the start. It's literally ****ing posted on here. Now I'm a dim...

Get an advisor then.
Obama is outperforming Trump in S&P growth this far into their respective terms.
