Well here's what I think. And it drives me nuts so I am less and less interested in reading on ultra partisan type forums lately (of either kind).
Well I've been here long enough to know that PaceAdvantage isn't a racist as a person. (you're welcome......but I have never seen you as a racist. )
HOWEVER I think both Pace and the original OP couldn't resist being able to apply their (obsessive) partisanship to a simple video they watched.
Pace, perhaps to grab onto the "thank God we have a PRESIDENT who cares about justice for minorities......" And the OP may have had intent to make this racist "because Trump is a racist".
This insistence that everything is partisan, is just as nutty and sad as the idea that everything is racial.
AM I THE ONLY PERSON THIS BOTHERS?
Stuff happens every day, regardless of who is POTUS. It happens all over the world. But when every single damn thing that happens in the entire universe is either nutritive "props" for Trump, or "bashes" on Trump....... it's like some kind of madness. 
FWIW, I was one who made early comments on the video, which I watched "innocently" ----"innocently" because I had not read ANY news on it, had not yet seen ANY media on it........all I saw was a video somebody here posted in which I saw a human being subjected to over-the-top police brutality. (which to me is a training issue, a psych issue that needs addressing by the department, maybe some stress or PSTD issues, or maybe a culture of police brutality w/in that precinct which needs to stop. etc.)
Simple. Maybe I'm just blessed?

I guess senortout is another one who hasn't actually watched the video.
The video itself brings race into the forefront.
The fact that there are people in this thread, pretending race isn't a big part of this story, is absolutely fascinating.

Well then watch COPS or Live PD.
More than a few cops - White and Black who go off like madmen on their own races. See it every week.
What for one particular A**** in West Baton Rouque - plain cloths guy wearing a vest. Totally NOT what you want as a cop.
And watch a lot of the one that get pulled over or arrested. By the end of hour 1 many nights, you will be rooting for the cop to take out his night stick and break some skulls.
But just blame it all on race and it will all be well.
