Cheating Trainers
85% seems high. But to believe illegal drugs are not givin to horses is naive. Its been a problem for years, and in my opinion, it has gotten worse. Would one not think that its not the vet administrating the drugs, but the trainers themselves No paper trail there. Certainly does'nt take much to find a vein.
I believe everone wants an edge, not just the gambler.

Cheaters
Cheaters try their best not to leave evidence. Do you think Sammy Sosa, or Mark Mcgwire gave data of the drugs they took

Everyone knows they cheated. They both looked like WWE (or whatever the name is) wrestling dolls.

Whenever I post something about the horsemen not caring about the interests of bettors, there are 4 or 5 horsemen who respond that horsemen are bettors too.

I cannot believe there is a legitimate debate as to whether many/most trainers cheat. I thought we were light years past that discussion.
I am 43 years old and started following the game religously in 1986. I would say I've analyzed hundreds of thousands of PP's. My opinion is the game is more corrupt today than at any time since I've been following it. 85% seems too low.
I love racing and have "donated" lots to the industry. For anyone who thinks the game is legit, I wish I could have that same feeling. I don't.

drugs
It's a never ending story when it comes to this topic,i am sure alot of trainers are using drugs legal and illegal, but when he says 85% he doesnt mean 85% of the time they are using them.Trainers are like anyone else ,they try to make a score and put as much in their favor as they can, that being said yes i believe that 85% do use drugs at some point.

Where's the outrage at Football and Baseball Players who take aspirin, tylenol, or god forbid a shot of cortisone?

Probably because we're on a horse racing forum Andy. Don't think anyone here cares about a baseball player or one guy on a team sport that took an aspirin. But JMO.
