2021- The Worst Preakness Stakes Ever?
Was 2021 the worst year ever for the Preakness Stakes?

What an asinine comment to make about how someone chooses to sport their ball cap. Crazy!!!

I'd easily argue ABSOLUTELY NOT!
For three consecutive years the Preakness has provided a redemptive sigh of relief after the besmirchment that is the Kentucky Derby.
2019 - Maximum Security DQ in Derby, fouled War of Will goes on to win Preakness.
2020 - Authentic wins Derby in a very unsatisfying running with Baffert having Arkansas positives hanging over his head, Swiss Skydiver ("I run anywhere against anybody") beats colts including Authentic in Preakness.
2021 - Medina Spirit wins and is subsequently DQ'd with another Baffert positive, Rombauer wins for good guy Michael McCarthy and some nice owners.
I am becoming increasingly thankful for the Preakness!

Relax Grandpa, he's not trampling your lawn. Why don't you comment like an intelligent human?

You think he is intelligent? With a screen name of Fred Mertz from I love Lucy show, intelligence is out of the question....

I cant believe a person seemingly exists with enough intelligence to make a post on a message board, while simultaneously thinking this is an acceptable comment.
This is reprehensible and inexcusable.

There's no need to provide cover for the racist.

I saw it this morning and thought about it, but figured it was better left in the light.

Please people, stop playing into the foolishness of always discussing, or getting offended by, race. It's dumb and no one cares about virtue signalling who isn't insecure or have an inferiority complex.

If you aren't offended by it or remain quiet, you are showing acceptance of it.
