I've seen that and worse in the older days back in the 80s, I'm sure others have too. It isn't pretty for sure.

I think Demon's Begone as the Derby favorite maybe in '87? Pat Day was up. Looks like he came back in '88 to race a couple of times but might have bled again eased in the Oaklawn Handicap then retired.

Sorry to see this one too.
They don't allow meds in HK, looks like the trainer wants to take him to Australia but I wonder if this one will ever race again.
