My POS phone went out again...I'm like Lefty-I use a sh*tty flip phone. I've had 2 smart phones, but just couldn't get used to all the buttons, etc. Hell, I couldn't even answer it one day .

So back to the flip phones for me.

Hard to believe all the "add-on" charges, just because they can. If this makes you mad--take a look at all the "extras" on your mortgage statement

I just love those hidden charges especially at the hotels:

MNR BEST-FIVE 8-9

If the scratches were posted earlier--we hit OAK ROOM in the 3rd.

Best-Five contenders hit every winner, once again.

Platinum Best Bets pick-6 Cold Duck CTX

You'll never know the thrill of hitting a pick-6 unless, like me, you play the low-rent tracks. It would even be more thrilling if they paid more than $150

Since Platinum handed this on a silver platter--I'll punch it once LOL

Platinum longshots

I have been trying to dope out a longshot play revolving around cols BL1 and BL2 - I noticed that the first top 4 power horses do in fact at times list some good pay offs (what ever method used to generate a power number it is a price getter) I started testing playing any of the top 4 horses who had a BL1 number less than a BL2 number - meaning the horse ran closer to the pace in his last race than in his next to last race (Improvement)- namely the first call (E1) ( if BL = 0 then horse was leading at 1st pace call) . I got at times more than one play per race and in fact got some good positive results but there were lots of donut days - you needed those double digit pay offs to get ahead.

I decided to use the idea on playing the #1 power horse 10-1 or greater ML - and any of the next 3 horses down at 10 -1 or more that had a BL1 less than BL2 . This cuts down the number of plays and hopefully you get that pay off.

today at Indiana Grand there were 7 plays with the number 2 horse in race 4 paying $55.20.

Assinaboia 8/16 there were 8 plays -in race 6 there were 3 plays with the 5 horse paying $51.30,

to summarize

1- put in scratches - a must
2 - sort the power column
3 - if the top power is 10-1 or more on the ML it is an auto play.
4 - if any one of the next 3 down is 10-1 or more on the ML play the horse if its BL1 value is less than its BL2 value. (note you can have more than one qualifier - possibly 4 ) - I haven't seen that much yet.

Give it try out - BTW if you have the Parx file for last month 7/26 put the scratches in on race 6 and see the top 4 power horses. LOL

Well don't bet the store - I would say weave it into your regular style - good luck

FL race 9 # - drops to an all time low and is showing nothing, lightly raced but gets a 23% rider change.

Well the 4 won but came down to 9/2 odds paid $11.60 for a $2 bet which is still fine for my $10 win bet.

Trainer Moves

Pretty good night at PEN for Trainer Jockey Money Moves. Two plays:

"Bearakontie" in the 2nd finished 2nd and paid $4.40 to place (after leading much of the race).

"Venomous State" in the 4th won and paid $12.20 and $4.20. Quite a few of these plays finish 2nd, so I started keeping track of place as well.

All the best to everyone,

Slim

bl1 & bl2

I believe the bl1 & bl2 are beaten lengths at the first call and beaten lenghts at the second call. That's not last race and next to last race.
