I've been listening to climate doomsayers since the late 60's. From fish boiling in rivers, fish swimming in the streets of Honolulu, the planet cooling 20 degrees, the planet warming, the thinning stratosphere, the solar flares, scientists stuck in arctic ice they say didn't exist... it's all bullshit.
Let me ask you this. Why did the worlds elite fly in on 400 private jets to a climate conference they could have had over zoom? Why did they show up last year in private yachts? How much energy is consumed at these conferences? Why do these people have fleets of internal combustion vehicles? How do they power their extensive real estate holdings? Why do they have beach front property? Why isn't Miami under water like AOC said it would be? Why does it still snow in Massachusetts? Why were my heating BTU's up last year? What will we do when China and the Soviet Union tell us to stick our green initiatives up our ass?

Wait, you mean the climate models are wrong AGAIN?
Quote:
The study, published Wednesday in the journal Science Advances, found that the expansion of warm Atlantic Ocean water flowing into the Arctic, a phenomenon known as “Atlantification,” has caused Arctic water temperature in the region studied to increase by around 2 degrees Celsius since 1900.
Francesco Muschitiello, an author on the study and assistant professor of geography at the University of Cambridge, said the findings were worrisome because the early warming suggests there might be a flaw in the models scientists use to predict how the climate will change.

Antarctica's 'doomsday glacier' is facing threat of imminent collapse, scientists warn
https://www.yahoo.com/news/antarctic...220236266.html
Perhaps the best thing we could all do this Christmas season to assure this forum survives the imminent climate change apocalypse is to swap life boats, life preservers, life rafts, etc.

While it could take centuries for the full impact of a total collapse of the Thwaites Glacier to play out, the latest data from Antarctica is not giving scientists any reason for optimism.

Lots of reason to panic, right?
Probably don't have more than 50 to 100 years to build some seawalls.
Okay, so I make light. But it is typical.
Michael Crichton had it right - and yet so wrong.
He once said that the use of panic & hysteria words were an indicator of manipulation by the media.
But then he also thought individuals will have their own "news bots" that would scour the world to find factual articles for us.
He just never considered that factual articles or that truth would be so difficult to find.

Better start hiking to high ground. And don't forget to give the memo to Obama so he can get off his island to save his sorry butt.

Here's some advice.
Get usedto it.
Even if you are right about GW, and even if they pass the GND, it is not going to have any effect for decades, at least, if at ever.
I'll tell you what I told hcap.....MOVE INLAND!
