Mentor Cane euthanized

Suffered a fractured right hind pastern this morning in a workout. Tough sport some days, he was exciting.

This is really distressing. That's a bad loss. IMO that horse was super talented. He was kind of thrown to the wolves a little soon, but I was seriously contemplating playing him in the BC Sprint.

With Zenyatta, Zazu & Cosie Rosie leaving the track, it was kinda thin pickings for the Moss stable for awhile. There are certain owners you want to do good, & once again they had someone who looked the part.

Your right , like I always say "toughest game played outdoors" this is sickening , when he ran 2nd in the Kings Bishop it was the biggest exacta I ever hit in my life......very sad day.......
