"Why Orb will win the Triple Crown." (LOL)

"Orb finishes fast to win the Derby." (He didn't finish fast.)

"Orbs dominant come from behind victory." (His victory wasn't dominant."

All incorrect and misleading. Nothing wrong with discussing this so people don't make the same mistake next time.
Gotcha Bob.And you're right,no matter the philosophical implications I prefer to live in the universe of my own thoughts for the most part!I didn't get exposed to that blowhard express you mentioned.A little from TVG.None of the rest.I felt confident in his form cycle to bet him in the Derby but the distance, pace scenario, triple top,and odds made him a no play to win.I made one small bet on a median payout exacta with Goldcents.I was wondering where all of this poste haste angst was coming from.I really don't listen to any of that.I discussed the derby on here prior and the preps but I'm pretty uninfluenced by beat writers on the subject.

And what happened to Oxbow there? Just didn't run?
He got brilliantly taken out of his running style. The trainer was just experimenting with him still. It happens.

Yes it seemed that Steven was trying to see if he could rate and close in that race.

Like I said earlier.It was the 2012 BC Classic all over again.Goldcents=Game On Dude,Orb=Flat Out,Fort Larned=Oxbow.

Except for Oxbow was far less accomplished. But the idiocy of the trainers allowed for the clear lead in both. The more I play this game, other than fevers and foot issues I think these trainers don't know anymore about this game as it plays out than us.Once the horses leave the track=absolutely.Ontrack=not hardly.

The only thing they know more about than the serious prepared player is the current condition of their own horse. Give me the guy who knows ALL the horses and can analyze a race over the guy who isnt spending hours watching tape and crunching numbers.
