Ordell Braase/ Baltimore Colts

Had the privilege of meeting OB today. His son is a bartender at a local pub. Ordell was and is quite a character. He related some really nice stories to me for which I was grateful. I find it amazing how age catches up with all of us. He looked so small and fragile. He did however still have a very powerful handshake.

He lives in Florida and returned to B'more for a memorial to John Mackey.

He came back for the Mackey memorial and meanwhile his opposite end, Bubba, just passed too as you'd certainly know.

I lived in the NYC metropolitan area but was a Colt fan in those days and came down to Memorial Stadium a couple of times.

I spoke to Ordell's son Drew yesterday. Ordell has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. He is 80.
