Christmas Gifts for Backstretch Kids.
This will be the third year I've sent gifts. @tracksidemikeN started this a few years ago. I'll try to list more addresses in the coming days. Normally send to Chaplains office at Santa Anita but did send some kids binoculars to Laurel.

Good afternoon, Andy,
Thank you very much for reaching out.
The mailing address is listed below. Regarding ages, we serve all age groups but the area most in need right now is ages 8 - 12, both boys and girls.
Thanks so much,
Best,
Eleanor

Another note is that if you send something that needs batteries it's a good idea to send a pack of AAA or AA batteries in addition to the gifts.

Thanks for the link to the BCCA, Andy. I had no idea it existed. My wife and I made a donation.

Pretty sure they collect presents on Cigar Mile day too. I remember bringing toys and teddy bears out there the day Max Security and Spun to run faced off.

Heard from the Maryland director that financial donations work too - if I learn of an online solution, I'll add subsequently.
You can certainly make a contribution to our benevolence fund and earmark those funds to our Toy Drive. 100% of this donation will go toward this year’s initiative.
To make a contribution please send to:
Maryland Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association

Owings Mills, MD 21117
