Irad Ortiz knocks a rider off a horse

Hopefully this draws a severe suspension.

The way you titled this thread, and the way that tweet was worded, I fully expected to see him cock a fist back and punch a fellow rider right off his horse.

Talk about click-bait

Not in my opinion

In my opinion, it was careless and stupid.

I don't think for one minute it was intentional

Intentional or not he should be better than that. It was incredibly reckless and could have ended a career before it even really began.

The real irony is the person whose tweet started this thread is one of the biggest POS's on twitter.

You're getting soft. That was bad, and by a habitual offender. It was only a matter of time until he dropped someone. And no I don't think it was intentional, but he did in fact knock a rider off his horse.

OK, so it's manslaughter, not murder. Still needs to be punished severely.

Chartcaller's Race Footnotes:
https://www.equibase.com/premium/cha...21&cy=USA&rn=8

Quote:
Footnotes
CREA'S BKLYN LAW moved out to avoid the fallen rider near the five-eighths, went four then five wide on the turn, rallied six wide into the stretch and closed strongly in the middle of the track to get up late. GRAN CASIQUE angled in with reckless abandon at the five-eighths and bumped GRAN CASIQUE hard which caused that foe to lose his rider...
Chartcaller described it as angled in with reckless abandon.

Chartcaller got the name of the fallen horse wrong. (Ugh.)

Everyone involved with the initial post in this thread?

Like I said, I fully expected to see him throw a punch while riding, the way the thread was titled and the words used on that tweet.

What I saw in the actual video, is something I've seen a million times before watching races the last 30+ years of my life.

The person starting the thread said he knocked a rider off his horse and others said he was reckless. Both are true statements. Someone would have to be out of their minds to think this was intentional
