What am I missing here? Costas said, essentially, that all the evidence, all the data about new cases, hospitalization, etc. weigh heavily against the unvaxxed, right? So...what is his problem? He's vaxxed, I presume? If the unvaxxed want to put each other at high risk, then why not let 'em? Either the unvaxxed die or they survive with far superior natural immunity. A real win-win for leftists. What is this whining ninny worried about?

Costas, just after the 56 second mark in the video:
Costas says:
Quote:
"The National Hockey League as best we understand it has only 4 unvaccinated players among their hundreds of players. And yet their season has been interrupted."
|
Then at about the 1:40 minute mark in the video:
Costas says:
Quote:
"I don't know that I have the specifics of it.
But clearly, vaccination is the key here.
And we might as well call it what it is. This anit-vax stuff is a belligerent idiocy."
|
Imo --
If the NHL is 99% vaccinated and they still can't put two teams on the ice:
Maybe vaccination isn't the key you think it is.
And those of us who can see the truth - that these vaccines aren't stopping the virus in its tracks:
Maybe we aren't the belligerent idiots you think we are.

Again, I can't help but come back to the "mass psychosis" Dr. Peter McCullough talked about on the Rogan podcast....it's quite evident in ol' Bob's train of thought there...

Aaron Rodgers talks about health and treatment options
Imo, it gets pretty interesting starting at about the 2:05 mark in the video --
Rodgers:
Quote:
But the other thing that hasn't been talked about is treatments.
|
And:
Quote:
I talked to a lot of friends who had Covid including Joe, and figured out a protocol that I had ready in case I got Covid, that basically took my symptoms from what they were to nonexistence in 36 hours.

I never considered Costas as anything other than average. Pompous, self important, self righteous are words that come to mind.

Once he started spewing his liberal BS, I won't even listen to him talk about sports anymore. I still am shocked about his idiotic gun control rant at halftime of an NFL game.

He was a sports commentator. Full stop. Why his opinion on anything other than sports is even reported upon is beyond me. A homeless guy under a bridge has an equally important and relevant opinion to Bob Costas on most subjects.

I agree, if the homeless guy wasn't a mentally ill drug addict, his opinion would probably more relevant as he lives in the real world. I never understood why anyone gives two cents for the opinion of someone who got extremely wealthy working in an entertainment field.

Costas is a class act, and was a great journalist.
However, he's certainly not some guy who somehow slipped through the filters and is on a rampage to speak truth out to any listeners, even if it costs him in retirement and freedom.
