Powerscourt

Dead of a heart attack in Turkey at age 21.

My memory is fuzzy...did he win the Arlington Million via DQ?

Thanks for the clarification...I was mistaken about the DQ.
Spencer rode like an idiot that day.

Spencer did even better on the horse only 2 starts later in the BC Turf.

Missed the break completely, let the horse settle some 15 lengths off the pace, then inexplicably went all in down the backstretch with nearly 5 furlongs left to run to blow past a loose-on-the-lead Star Over the Bay, opened up 2 or 3 on the field into the stretch, then predictably hit a brick wall and was life-and-death to save second (he didn't make it...)

Like most days. Why they ride him in the UK is beyond me. Worse yet, why do they bring him to the US to ride some of their best.

Some things, I will never understand.
