Pure speculation, all circumstantial evidence. I seriously don't see how someone like the Zodiac would have voluntarily stopped killing.

the san francisco chronicle quickly debunked this saying law enforcement investigated in 2015 and ruled mr poste out as zodiac. zociackiller.com owner tom voigt also responded quickly in rolling stone.

also i recently posted here that it was recently revealed that the riverside "bates must die" letters were not the work of zodiac and thus zodiac probably did not kill cheri jo bates.

I really think the Zodiac either died after his last taunting of police or ended up incarcerated for an unrelated crime or crimes and took his secret to the grave. No way that guy decided to stop killing and lived decades as a free man staying clear of trouble.

i don't know for sure but it may be more complicated than we can imagine?

admittedly i don't want to see it be some redneck out in the woods hunting with a group of "youngsters" calling him "uncle zodiac" between spits of redman. and at some angles of the photos i can see a resemblence to the presidio heights sketch....but at others i see an aging robert redford and overall the evidence these people presented was quite weak.
