Well...this entry didn't exactly look like something that a piece of sophisticated handicapping software would rate so highly...that's all. This...plus the fact that I had a decent wager on the double with the ...which lost by a nose on the wire.

Your absolutely correct thask...

I looked at 2 programs and the entry was not near the top..

and the one I thought was a lame horse ...WON

Lame by way of so many breaks in his PP's

and he closed from behind which most winners were close to lead

thats Parx for ya...

Guess who rode the horse that beat you by a nose?....If you've been following the comments in this thread, it won't surprise you that the jockey was Luis Rivera....Doesn't matter if this jock is on the favorite or on a bomb, he's getting the job done AND the stewards won't take his number down either, no matter what.

Someone help me with this as the racing at Parx saga continues. In the 7th race the start of the pick 5, didn’t the 5 horse come over slamming the 1 horse ( the heavy favorite) into the rail? It showed several head on angles in TVG but that was it. I thought for sure this horse is coming some. They looked at it and Ofcourse no change. Then in the next leg the 5 horse goes wire to wire. I love how the jockey tosses the whip into the crowd to someone!!! What’s in that whip??

The 5 in the 8th had the best 2nd fraction, top 3 in E/P top 3 in A/P top 3 in L/P
works were good, so yes he figured. No I did not bet the race. As for the whip, I have no idea.....maybe someone he knew (??).

Different trainer it may have been in the 10-1 range or maybe less.

Vazquez or whatever is like a 10-15% guy at best

meanwhile Ness winning about 35% and five to ten other Parx barns moving up horses, and getting horses to not tire.

maybe Vazquez was doing an incompetent job of cheating, maybe he got set up for this raid?

the problem with having a clean sport, is that owners want to win and contend as often as possible.

even the breeding and development of foals is something that can be greatly improved with drugs

we could not field a single card of clean horses

the truth isn't pretty,

but horse racing needs to do a much better job of the perception of integrity.

The PA racing commission seems to have changed their position on the raids conducted at Parx and Penn. They now claim the raids uncovered 'nothing of substance'.
