Yes. Thanks trifecta. I was going crazy trying to remember. Marcus Zuleta!!! We should wager in what punishment all those guys will get? Fines, prison time, barred from every racing again? Or maybe a free paid berth to the Breeders Cup. I mean one day hopefully we will see this stuff end.

Parx has always been a funky track. 12,500 claimers running 90 beyers or 3 thorograph figs, and when they go away from Parx they run like shit.
Isn't it widely assumed that juicers get a free go there????

I think you have to look at this stuff the way it is now....not 15 years ago.
Imo there are far more suspicious things going on at some of the major tracks than Parx or Penn.

I agree, here in Florida there are active groups seeking to ban live racing in the state and if history regarding pari-mutuel dog racing is any clue they will most likely be successful. This kind 'raid' plays right into the hands of those who would rid the USA of horse racing. Oh the corruption.

From what I could tell the FLA dog track operators were more than happy to support the ban so they could de-couple their casinos.

No sounds like "All racing. Have you looked at the field size in New York ? The Tracks have had a lot of horses leave california and that has helped Oaklawn and CD with more entries, it will catch up to them soon. Names like Dutrow, Navvaro, and gary west's trainer that got a 16k maiden claimer to win the Kentucky Derby. I forgot his name. Ya the problem is just in California.

Racing everywhere is taking a hit. Except ( Florida ) GP. They always seem like that have more horses than can fit in a starting gate. Santa Anita has average of like 5.9 horses per race. Today was the first weekend that I didn't buy a form and handicap any races in a very long time. Im so sickened by everything going on in the industry. Between Baffert, Sadler, the games played at GP, the raid at Parx. Sure i looked at payouts etc and when I see Sadler win on a 25-1 horse that at Santa Anita yesterday I can't helped to wonder now days???
Is it me that just feels this way??? Im sure the fact that I have gone cold for weeks betting doesn't help but just gets frustrating. Happy Memorial Day to everyone that has served or knows someone that has served for our country!!!

Ricaardo Vega suspended, denied access to Pennsylvania tracks as trainer or owner, according to Paulick Report.

I don't think racing is taking a hit on this or anything else that is negative that they put on the table and in the open.
for whatever reason, we tend to think that people don't like horseracing.. I think that is a totally wrong perception. people want to see a clean game, they want to bring their family to the track for a picnic and bet the races. the way the game has gone in the past 50 years they got away from it because they don't trust the game. if you instill confidence in the game, getting rid of the dark side of the game like drugs and the killing of the horses, and then take care of the security of the mutual pools, you will then regain the customers that you have lost and then some.
